So 3 years ago today was absolutely the best and most beautiful wedding I have ever been part of! Check out this bride... photos copyrighted to Jennifer Handly...
So to celebrate Amber and I went to Layne's tonight to eat and Amber surprised me with a really awesome pen! I have been eyeing these pens everytime we go eat. There is a really nice jewelry store, Fuqua's, next door to the restaraunt and we always visit it after we eat. I have been wanting to have a really nice pen to spoil my clients with when they come over to the studio. I have this sub-conscience feeling that a really nice pen in the hand of a bride may possibly make it easier for her to write me a really nice check! And better than that... I always fear I am going to whip out my SimmonsFirst pen and the mother of the bride be a banker at a rival bank! "inside joke" But this pen fits the bill... it is awesome! Well, Amber did not know, but I had a small surprise for her from the jewelry store too. We have been working and talking about outfitting a ring I made for Amber a couple years ago with a smokin diamond as the main solitaire. When I made it I put an Amethyst in it with hopes to one day give her a dream ring! I hope this is it! A special thanks to Jeremy from Fuqua's for hooking me up and getting this ring back to us in time for the big day! You rock bro! And thanks to Michele and David for providing us with a child-free night. I think they had fun keeping Cooper anyway. We were actually told it was more fun keeping Cooper if we weren't there! We had a blast spoiling each other for a change. So we took a self portrait when we got home then our new goodies got the mt royal treatment to show em off! God Bless and Merry Christmas!
